Think about this - is smoking not just as stupid and given credit for so much in our smoking life?  I sure happy am happy that I am now free.  The smoke cleared and I saw the lies of addiction for what they were and fought through for my freedom.

That’s right. Lay your hand on a hard surface, take a hammer in the other hand and slam your hand real hard with the hammer. Go ahead, do it now.

And it will solve all your problems. Sure it will.

Are you stressed? Bored? Lonely? 
Are you concerned about recent weight gain? Are you constipated? Breaking out?
Are you having anxiety or trouble sleeping?
Having relationship problems? Money problems? Work problems?

The solution is to slam your hand with a hammer. Go ahead – do it now, it will HELP. After you’ve crushed all the bones in your hand, you will FEEL better. And it will magically cure all the above mentioned problems.

So go ahead…slam your hand with the hammer. Do it now, you know you want to.

Doesn’t make much sense does it? Actually, it makes more sense than smoking!

Because once we slam our hand with the hammer we’d learn ONCE AND FOR ALL that it’s NOT the solution. We would realize that it was a bad plan and it didn’t SOLVE our problems, it only created more problems. We’d realize there was no comfort or solace in having a mutilated hand and we wouldn’t do it again!

But our junkie brains and the nicodemon have conspired together to convince us that slamming our hand with the hammer was a good thing, a comforting thing, a good way to cope. And now we “miss” it, we crave it, we long for the pain and misery of slamming our hand with a hammer. Not once, but 10 to 20 times a day.

Doesn’t make much sense, does it?
