The Hindus have a wonderful and joyous way to celebrate the beginning of spring, itās Holi. Itās filled with lots of colors, love, laughter and fun. May your life be as colourful and joyful as the festival of Holi.

Welcome to the Monday night self serve bonfire.Ā
This bonfire is to be enjoyed by everyone so please all join in the fun. We gather here to toss our worries and sick sticks away and to support each other as we live our lives free of smoking and nicotine addiction. ā¤ļøWeāre here to celebrateĀ
Whether you have 2, 20, 200, 20,000 or 200,000 stinkeroos, we want your unsmokeds to make this fire blaze high. We especially welcome newbies; be extra careful as your unsmoked are the hardest earned and go up like a fireworks display. So please carefully toss your unsmoked into the bonfire as you celebrate; we donāt want any missing fingers or toes.Ā
š„ This wonderful Bonfire tradition is carried on in the memory of our very own Q-Angel, Mary (tillietoiler) Merrey. She started the bonfire as a place to get together and toss away your unsmoked cigarettes and anything else that may be bothering you. As Mary became too weak to host, the BBBs (Bonfire Brigade Babes & Bros.) took over tending Maryās fire. š“ Feel free to wander around NOPE Island. š“ The newly remodeled Tiki Bar is always hopping later on. There is an amazing buffet available for your enjoyment! The All Things Chocolate buffet is a favorite too. š Enjoy! Everything is calorie free here on NOPE Island.
For those who prefer a quieter evening, there are plenty of loungers set out on the beach. That's where the dolphins love to play. Sometimes they get very excited and splash quite close to the edge of the beach; so, don't be surprised if you get a bit wet! Towels are in the big hamper by the hammocks.
š„ Newbies and everyone else, shout out your anniversaries and any milestones you may be celebrating. We love to celebrate those important days. And remember, it's because of each of you that we are here!
Methods of hauling your unsmoked cigarettes:
001-500.............tall kitchen trash bags
501 to 999..............black yard size trash bags
1,000 to 9,999.............wheel barrows
10,000 to 49,999............brand new dump truck in your choice of colors
50,000 to 99,999..................a train
100,000 to 249,999...................a barge
Now if youāre ready, we'll get this fire started with the only lighter allowed on NOPE Island, the golden lighter brought to the original Bonfires by Mary Merrey/tillietoiler herself.
